Go Dutch at Avalon Park for Koningsdag

For the fourth year running (oops – cycling), the Dutch Club Wellington is issuing an invitation to ‘Go Orange’ for Koningsdag (Dutch King’s Birthday) on
Sunday 27 April, 10 am-1 pm at Avalon Park and Avalon House.

The Avalon Orange Bike Ride will once again be the feature event with fun biking activities for children and adults, and prizes for best dressed bikes and people. Other competitions will include the Orange Mystery Quiz Trail and ‘Where’s Willem’ chase to get signatures from visiting members of the Dutch royal family!

There’ll be space for a children’s vrijmarkt/kleedjesmarkt (register early – by 20 April). And of course, fine Dutch food and drink will be available at the Clubrooms (cash only for sales).

This is a fun family day for children of all ages! The only rule – wear at least a dash of orange!
